Biography

Kristina Ljungström is a partner of Norburg & Scherp. Before joining the firm in 2018, she was an associate with a global law firm, working in the Stockholm and London offices, specialising in international arbitration.

Her practice focuses on arbitration and commercial litigation. Her experience includes disputes in a wide range of matters and industries. Her experience covers domestic and international litigation and arbitration proceedings under various international rules (including those of the SCC, ICC, SIAC and UNCITRAL) as well as ad hoc arbitration. She also serves as arbitrator and has completed the 2019 Training Programme for Arbitrators arranged by the SCC and the Swedish Arbitration Association.

Kristina Ljungström is a member of the board of Young Arbitrators Sweden. She is also a frequent speaker at Swedish and international events and conferences in the field of arbitration, and has been engaged as guest lecturer at Swedish universities, teaching mainly arbitration and construction law.

Kristina’s expertise is recognised by international ranking institutes such as Chambers and Partners, the Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal who has named her Up and Coming, Next Generation Lawyer, Future Leader and National Leader within litigation, arbitration and construction.
